The 2009 Mark Twain Awards
WINNERS & NOMINEES

These are the results of APTRA' s 2009 Mark Twain Awards competition for California, Nevada, Hawaii, Arizona, New Mexico, Washington, Idaho, Colorado, Utah, Montana, Wyoming, and Alaska.

Judging took place at The Associated Press Bureau in Downtown Los Angeles with a panel of leading broadcast journalists that considered hundreds of entries from the 2008 calendar year.

In some categories there are no winners or nominees.

All awards will be handed out Saturday Night, June 27, 2009 during a black tie banquet at The Globe Theater at Universal Studios Hollywood.

It's part of APTRA's 62nd annual convention weekend which has many activities including social events, workshops and a media day at Universal Studios Hollywood which this year features Creature from the Black Lagoon - The Musical!
